And she's off!
My Maeve is crawling now.
It started yesterday. I could tell she was close, so I sat with her on the floor awhile, and held out my hands to her, and sure enough, she came barreling at me, clumsily but excited. I clapped and cheered and told her what a big girl she is.
DH promptly put up the baby gate so she can't get to the Christmas tree, and because she's started pulling herself up, too, (it was a big day yesterday) we lowered her crib mattress. I'm now officially a baby-chasing Momma, which will no doubt keep me very busy.
I'm so proud of her.

ReplyDeleteSame with Ryan! He had been scooting since 5 months, and then Saturday night he started crawling. Exactly on time with your little girl. Next up is walking!
