C'mere, C'mon!

"Children's games are hardly games. Children are never more serious than when they play." -Montaigne

Daddy, I grab your hand.  C'mere, I show you my tent.  See my tent?  I go inside, and you tickle me.  Hey.  Tickle me.  Ooooh that tickles! I run away from you to Mommy for protection.

Mommy, Daddy tickled me!  Save me!  Hey, put me down, Daddy came back to tickle me some more and I wanna play.  Bye!

C'mere, Momma, I need more milk.  More milk please.  Momma smiles, she likes the please.  Candy please?  Oh, just milk.  But I want candy now.  Please? ALL I WANT IN THE WORLD IS CANDY! GIMME! Oh, hey, is that milk?  Yum.

Daddy, c'mon, let's go go go!  Wanna go someplace!  Yay, we're going!  Got my coat and shoes and socks.  Go go go!  Hey, there's the car! NO I DON'T WANT TO GO ANYWHERE IN THE CAR, WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME???

Momma, c'mere!  There's something outside, see?  See?  See that leaf?  Ooooooo it's so cute!  It scoots along by itself!  Can't you see, Momma, cute!

  1. I just love how kids are so exuberant about things they just can't help sharing their joy.
