Maeve's games are highly entertaining to me. I think being the mom of a toddler gives you a bit of the sense of humor of a toddler. Plus, who can keep from laughing when a toddler is laughing? Almost no one.
Her favorite at the moment is "Spideagain" which is what she calls the Itsy Bitsy Spider. She likes it done over and over again, as the name suggests. Yesterday she surprised me by doing ALL the hand motions, which I didn't even know she knew!
But the very original game she invented yesterday has been dubbed "Oopsie." She sits on her chair, pretends to buckle herself into it, then slides off onto the floor, giggling hysterically. Either she or I, or both, will end up saying "Oopsie" once she's on the floor, and the trick is quickly repeated. We spent about twenty minutes yesterday playing this game.
I am sorry to say I haven't caught it on video, but I did get this excellent video of her saying no to me yesterday. So enjoy the goofy, overblown head-shaking, and have a good day!
