Saying goodbye is never easy, but we had such a lovely day with Maeve's friend A yesterday, who's moving to Kansas. The girls had a beautiful afternoon and evening together. There was a ride in the car, ice cream at Dairy Queen, pool time, a "fashion show" that was the two of them jumping on the bed in dress up clothes, Frozen, dinner, and back outside again before the night was through.
Good friends are not easy to find, and awfully hard to lose, but we will see each other again, not soon, but certainly. Bon voyage, dears!
