One year ago today, I wrote my first blog entry here on Maeve's Momma. I was writing about how happy I was that Maeve was starting to smile more because her formula was working to help her gain weight. She weighed less than a third of what she weighs now, with little toothpick arms and still-unfocused eyes.
It's hard to believe I've been at this for a whole year now, putting my observations and emotions down into a little blank Blogger screen every weekday. It seems like Maeve exploded from a wiggly string bean into an obstinate, graceful, active sunflower.
So thanks for sticking with me this whole year, friends. I know not all of my posts manage to sparkle with wit and apt metaphors, but you guys stick around all the same, and that means a lot. I love reading your blogs, your comments, and even just those likes and +1's make me smile a little broader. You have helped me feel a part of the Universal Mom Community, just one of the gang, and I am so grateful.
I am also grateful for my friends who take a second to click my ads. I earned $228 for Maeve's college account in this last year, and I love that writing about my adventures with her can help out her future a little. On that note, wontcha click my ads? I try to click yours, my blog friends. We can all help each other out.
Today I am exhausted from late-night wakes with a screaming, panicky child, so I've kind of sleepwalked through my morning so far. Typical day in Mommaland. I hope today's blog finds you and yours to be well, enjoying the day, since today is the best day of the year. Thanks for stopping by!
