I just posted about the exact same thing today! I have a book for you: "Self-Compassion" by Kristin Neff. Just started it, so I'll let you know how it is. Gosh, why is it so hard not to beat ourselves up? To accept that we are human, we will make mistakes, and that's OKAY.
