Red hots are red,
blue socks are blue,
I love my toddler
who's almost not two.
Heart stickers are red,
Cookie Monster is blue,
The child makes me crazy
but she's part of my crew.
Kool aid is red,
And sometimes it's blue,
The messes accumulate
and crumbs accrue.
Clifford is red,
Toodee is blue,
It's hard to write poems
at 5:52.
Valentines red
and valentines blue
would not be enough, kiddo,
to say how much I love you.
