Rapunzel, Let Down Your Hair!

What to get for the girl with very short hair who has everything?

Long hair.

We found it in the Halloween stuff at the ARC thrift store this weekend, and it has purple ribbons and flowers threaded through, just like Rapunzel's hair does in Tangled, which Maeve recognized immediately. And for a dollar fifty, I didn't say no. So now she has a nice long braid, for days she wishes for long hair.

Sorry for the blank look in the picture, but we were watching Tangled at the time, and you know the face kids make when they're watching a beloved movie.  Well, it looks like this.

Maeve also discovered her braid works very well as a lasso, so, there's a hidden benefit, especially of being able to remove one's hair. You might well ask, is she going to be Rapunzel for Halloween? But we have no idea. Last year, as you may recall, she wanted to be a pumpkin for six months, then changed her mind ON HALLOWEEN. So, we're trying to get her to commit to a costume this year. I'll let you know when she does.

It's our first Monday back with Daddy gone back to work, so I'm trying to fill today with fun things. We'll both miss him.
