What a Life!

What a weekend we just had, so much fun, it's hard to believe it's over already. Yesterday was near perfect, especially the afternoon: Broncos game, snacks, Shaun's parents over to watch with us and/or play with Maeve, then bbq pork for dinner and homemade ice cream for dessert. What a life!

I'll tell you what Maeve's favorite part of yesterday was, though.

Maeve ran up to Grandpa Dale after dinner and asked, Do you want to go play Ponies with me on the bed? And Grandpa being the kind of stand-up guy he is immediately agreed, no questions asked. So we all went, eventually, and everybody had a great time. It took Maeve some time to explain to everyone how they were supposed to do the voices, because it just doesn't work, right? If the voices aren't right?

Anyway, I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate this Grandpa who always has an enthusiastic yes for his granddaughter.
