Big Hits

"My favorite jellybean is the pink one with the flavor inside. " -Chester Bennington

Today I will record what are currently Maeve's biggest hits, her favorite everything, her best-of, top-ten, desert island picks.

Maeve's favorite food: Hands down, no contest.  Pulled pork.  She chows it by the handful.  This is not at all a bad thing for the Husband and I, who now get to eat pulled pork every other week.  This week's version was in a green Thai curry.

Maeve's favorite color: When she picks clothes to wear, they are either turquoise or light purple, so I think those are probably her favorites.

Maeve's Favorite Sesame Street Character: A month ago I would have said Elmo, but the Count has surpassed the little red monster.  She runs around with her Count dolly saying Ah Ah Ah or pushes him in her stroller all the time.  He also accompanies us to the park and goes on the swings and the slide.

Maeve's favorite furniture: Although she likes the new cough and often crashes in her bean bag chair, her favorite place to sit is still in one of her toy baskets.  It's important to sit somewhere precarious, where you run the risk of getting stuck or tipping over, otherwise it's just not fun.

Maeve's Favorite Adult: Probably Mister Noodle.  Maybe Daddy and me as a close second.

Maeve's Favorite Book: No Nap for Natasha.  The title says it all.  Close second is The Monster at the End of This Book, although she refuses to turn the pages when she knows Grover yells on the next page.

Maeve's Favorite Snack: Annie's Chocolate Bunny Grahams.  She makes them hop a little before they go down the hatch.

Maeve's Favorite Activity: Going to the park.  Least favorite: Diaper changes, fought tooth and nail as though lives were at stake.

That's probably enough for today, but it's fun to watch her tastes change, and sometimes hard to keep up with the latest Maeve-trends.  She changes her mind about some things more often than a teenager!

Perfect.

  1. I'd say she's got a pretty good list going on here! And the Count is clearly superior to Elmo, in my humble opinion. :D

  2. Well, the Count knows how to use personal pronouns, and he has a lot of culture!
