Maeve likes to sing me spontaneous songs lately. It's hard to describe how much that grabs me by the heartstrings, but it does, instantly. Sometimes she's just narrating our lives, but most often she's reminding me that she loves me.
Oh. It stops me in my tracks. It makes me wish I was recording her all the time, because I know once these songs hang in the air for a moment, then they're gone forever.
But I know she loves me.
I've yet to catch one on video but I will one of these days. I just never want to do anything but listen to the song while she's singing.
