Maeve absolutely adored her first field trip to the pumpkin patch yesterday. She took her time picking out just the right pumpkin from the field, and last night we jumped in and did the carving.
This was the first time we let Maeve help, and she enthusiastically donned latex gloves and scooped out pumpkin guts. She kept squishing them in her hands, enjoying the sensation.

She picked a pumpkin carving template out of our kit for Daddy to carve, and we had her draw on the other pumpkin which I would try to replicate when I carved.

It was such a fun night, and I think the results speak for themselves. Happy Halloween, everyone!
